According to Alemlube, contamination is the leading cause of machinery failure on an industrial site. Lubrication is the last line of defence against friction, wear and corrosion for many parts on critical machinery, so when oil becomes compromised, so does the entire piece of equipment. In many cases, the cost of excluding a single gram of dirt from lubrication product is about 10 per cent of the projected cost in consequential downtime and repairs.
As a 100 per cent Australian-owned company offering a dynamic range of lubrication solutions to various sectors, Alemlube aims to keep ahead of market expectations with innovative product design. Their team of industry experts work alongside Motion Australia to provide best-fit products for servicing applications, employing an intimate understanding of the day-to-day challenges often faced on-site.
Their off-the-shelf lubrication equipment is ideal for servicing machinery on the field, where lightweight and customisable solutions are required. Prioritising safe handling and zero compromise to the lubricant, Alemlube’s portfolio delivers cost-effective tools that help operators deliver on best practice for storage, identification and dispensing processes.
The iCan® range of lubricant storage and delivery equipment from Alemlube reduces the chance of cross-contamination during maintenance tasks. The user-friendly design of these containers and series of attachments is resistant to rust, warping and distortion in rugged environments such as agriculture or food processing plants.
Each container has a clear, plastic pouch on the side, for comprehensive labelling with the iPouch double-sided identification cards. This ensures the safe handling of lubricant types on a single site, and mitiGates® the risk of cross-contamination where multiple varieties of oil or grease are being implemented. This is a necessity for sites looking to maintain a professional and organised workshop, and ensures fewer breakdowns caused by inadequately serviced componentry.
CONTAINERS WITH POUR LID KITS
Available in 2L, 5L, and 10L sizes, the fully sealed dispensing containers are designed for easy identification and delegation of lubricant products and are available in 6mm, 12mm or 25mm pour lid nozzle sizes. The large, flat side is ideal for quick and easy application of the colour-coded iPouch labelling system. These containers are constructed out of recyclable high-density polyethylene (HDPE), including UV and static resistant additives. Importantly, they also feature an on/off breather switch to reduce the risk of repetitive strain injury (RSI) during long-term use.
The 5L container kit includes a dual scale gauge to ensure accuracy when dispensing, and a quick fill port for safe, contaminant-free refills. The larger, 10L container is designed with a square base for increased stability when stacking. In addition, it has a threaded port for the optional use of a desiccant filter to increase protection against dust and other aggregators.
CONTAINER STORAGE LID KITS
The iCan® Container Storage Lid Kits come in 5L and 10L capacities, and feature colour-coded storage lids constructed from HDPE. Similarly to the Pour Lid Containers, these kits store fluid safely, preventing cross contamination due to their quick and safe fill ports and iPouch labelling system. They are suitable for use with a variety of lubricants and fluids, and include a desiccant port for added optimal protection.
CONTAINER PUMP KITS
The 5L and 10L Container Pump Kits from the iCan® collection include many of the same features as the Pour Lid Kits and Storage Lid Kits, such as durable HDPE construction, a colour-coded labelling system, and safe desiccant fill ports. In addition, they are topped with a sturdy T-hand pump and tube dispenser to allow ease of access to smaller ports or tight spaces.
